The product matches its description; the lighting is on both sides, one side for cutting the claws and the other for filing them. I highly recommend it.
I am satisfied with the product. I was unsure if it would fit a large dog... It fit perfectly, and the light really helps a black dog with black nails to see where the finger ends and where the nail that needs to be trimmed is. And the file at the other end sharpens very well. I recommend it!

Received on time. Product as described. The box arrived a bit crushed, but the contents were fine. It works correctly, although I find the scissors' opening too large for my cat. It would be nice if the lever could be fixed in an intermediate position to make it easier to work with. When the animal is reluctant to cooperate, as it turns out to be with my pet, between inserting the claw, closing the scissors, moving to an appropriate cutting position and proceeding to cut definitively, you are bleeding from seven different places. We will have to practice...

The item is also useful, unfortunately it arrived all damaged, I know it's not the seller's fault, but unfortunately a part was broken. Both the LED and the cutter work great. The light helps to see the vein in the nail and then you can use the grinding wheel in the handle of the scissors to finish the job.
The box comes a bit damaged but it seems that the product is fine.
Horrible product. Highly not recommended. My cat felt very uncomfortable when I tried to use it and I did it only once just to try. The only possible thing there is light, that's it. Also it's not sharp enough so you can't even normally cut cat nails. So be careful before you decide to buy it.
Sorry it didn't suit your cat. The clipper end is sized for dog claws. For cats we suggest the grinder end only, on the lowest speed, a few seconds per claw.
